RSA announces a security update for the RSA SecurID Appliance 2.x and 1.x

This SCOL Advisory identifies updates for the RSA SecurID Appliance 1.x and 2.x that are necessary to improve security protections for the embedded Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system. This update does not apply to the RSA SecurID Appliance 3.0.

Description:

The following Microsoft Windows operating system security vulnerabilities must be applied to the RSA SecurID Appliance 1.x and 2.x.

KB979306: February 2010 cumulative time zone update for Windows operating systems

Recommendation:
RSA recommends that customers apply the Microsoft updates to the RSA SecurID Appliance 1.x and 2.x immediately.
