RSA announces the next-generation RSA SecurID 800 Hybrid Authenticator with support for 2048-bit digital certificates

RSA is pleased to announce the general availability of the next-generation RSA SecurID 800 hybrid authenticator. The SecurID 800 Authenticator combines SecurID and smart card features in a single and convenient USB form factor to deliver an all-in-one authentication solution for the Enterprise.

The new SecurID 800 "Revision D" Authenticator includes the following features:

• Faster performing next-generation smart chip with FIPS 140-2 (level 3) certification
• Support for up to seven 2048-bit digital certificates
• Secure storage of Microsoft Windows account credentials
• SecurID tokencode automation
• Out-of-the box integration with the leading disk encryption solutions
• Fully compatible with the latest solutions based on the Microsoft Windows Smart Card Framework including Windows 7 and DirectAccess
