Check Point verandert de naam van Check Point Abra in Check Point GO

By October 30th 2011, all references for "Check Point Abra" will be changed to "Check Point GO". Check Point GO R75 release will be available in Q4-2011.

The product itself remains the same great product, instantly turning any PC into your corporate desktop, allowing users to access files and applications anywhere, anytime. Its plug-and-play USB form factor allows users to easily launch a secure virtual workspace that keeps mobile data secure. Users can work offline from the encrypted USB drive or online using the Check Point GO integrated VPN client.

The name change allows Check Point to maintain rights for the new term, Check Point GO.

Also, Check Point GO R75 release will be available in Q4-2011 and includes new features such as:

• Integrated portable applications
• Portable application store which includes many off-the-shelf Check Point GO applications
• A customization tool will allow tailoring for each customer before end-user deployment
• 2x faster performance
• Network shared folders to easily share files with corporate
• Native folder mode that allows drag & drop of files into Check Point GO from trusted computers
